We had such a good day today at Playgroup! The Easter Bunny stopped by for pictures with all the kids and we also completed crafts!

Riley was BESIDE herself when the Easter Bunny came in. I mean BESIDE herself with excitement. She kept screaming "Easter Bunny! Hi! Hi Easter Bunny!" over the entire pack of kids, you could defnitely hear RILEY! It was pretty darn funny.

Linda also stopped by to check out the festivities and it worked out well since Ashton was in a funk and she was able to help the girls with their projects while I held Ashton.

Coloring Easter Eggs!

We had an hour or so before dinner was ready so I thought it was a great time to color Easter eggs while Scott grilled chicken! I was a little nervous how Riley would do with 5 cups of colored vinegar, but I was pleasantly surprised that she was VERY gentle and really loved watching the "Magic" happen.

They both colored a little bit on their eggs before dunking them, the wax crayon was a wee bit un-exciting until the color actually came through, then they all would squeal with excitement.

After the girls colored their eggs we finished up the evening with the girls decorating their own larger paper eggs for cards to go along with their photos to the grandparents.

Start of 2nd Session Swim Lessons

Riley started her Water Exploration Class today. She did AMAZING just as I thought she would. Her instructor questioned why she was in this class and not the Level 1 Class.... so once again the explination of being held back of age not skill came up. BAHHHH! Ahh well, it was fun and Riley had fun so that's all that matters right?

Happy Easter from My Big Sister

It was so incredibly sweet when Reese came back from her Easter Egg Hunt at Preschool to Ma and Pa's house. Reese got down on the ground and split the eggs she found with Riley, without even asking. It made me a little teary eyed because I just love how much they love eachother.

Riley would open each egg and exclaim "WOW!" or "Oh Thank You Reesey!"

Spending Some Time at the Park

Since we had an hour or so to kill before it was bed time, Scott was out of town, we headed to the local park to let the girls play on the playground. It was fun until other kids saw how much fun Reese and Riley were having making up their own games that the other kids kinda pushed their way into their space and Riley was just not strong enough to push everyone out of the way. I still managed to grab a few photos.
